Malù Yachting Sloop 445

Malù Yachting represented an innovative shipyard during the 1980’s. It was characterized by the meticulous and constant search for the most appropriate materials and technologies to build yachts with attention to details.
The boat for sale is the model Sloop 445 and she is a completely custom one-off designed in 1984 by renowned Italian yacht designer Luca Brenta and produced in 1985 to very high construction standards.
The hull is made of wood externally covered with Kevlar fibres and it was built by Nautica C4 of Treviso.
Sloop 445 is an admirable cruiser with an excellent interior and deck finishes. The yacht is in very good general condition thanks to the attentions of the current owner who has carried out the following works:
- new rigging 2019
- antifouling 2021
- S-Drive transmission in 2018
- rudder shaft and rudder rebuilt in 2021
- new teak in the main deck in 2018
- cleaning tanks in 2018
- new electric windlass in 2018
- new boat cover 2019
Nanni 65 CV engine was replaced in 2001 and it has regularly been serviced each year.
This cruiser is ready to sail and ideal for long range cruising and it is equipped with original documents and technical drawings.

Disposition of interiors

The transom is equipped with a comfortable teak platform leading to the deck. The cockpit is central and well protected, leaving space in the aft area for a comfortable sunbed. The low profile of the deckhouse allows a 2.60-metre tender with pneumatic keel to be housed in the forward area. The central hatch leads down to the dinette below deck, which consists of a dining area on the starboard side with a table for 8 guests and an L-shaped sofa with a chart corner on the opposite side. The fully equipped galley is located along the corridor leading to the stern. The full-beam owner’s cabin is placed in the aft area of the boat and has an en-suite master bathroom. Forward of the mast, a twin bed cabin is located along the starboard side and a second bathroom on the opposite side. At the bow is the second guest cabin with V-beds.
